Intro-Directed by A.L.Vijay, Tutak Tutak Tutiya is a horror-comedy starring Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah and Sonu Sood in the lead roles. The film is co-produced by Sonu Sood (hindi version) and Prabhu Deva (Tamil version) and is all scheduled to have a theatrical release on October 7, 2016.
Music- With a host of music composers and Prabhu Deva, the album surely has some melodious songs and electrifying performances. The Hindi album has seven tracks and they are mostly dance tracks with upbeat music.
Rail Gaddi (Swati Sharrma , Navraj Hans)
The playlist opens with 'Rail Gaddi' sung by Swati Sharma and Navraj Singh, son of famous Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans. It’s one of those celebratory bhangra songs which is groovy and will surely appeal to the youth.
Chal Maar (WAJID)
Next is Wajid's 'Chal Maar’, which is a pure fun number. It has one of those typical Prabhu Deva styles which pick up its tempo gradually and naturally you start grooving with it. Irfan Kamal's lyrics are interesting and make ‘Chal Maar’ one of those ‘tapori’ style numbers which has a raw desi touch to it.
Tutak Tutak Tutiya (Malkit Singh,Kanika Kapoor, Sonu Sood)
Next is the title track 'Tutak Tutak Tutiya'. Though the remixed version has nothing original in it, but the Punjabi rendition does leave an impact. Interestingly, Sonu contributes to the remixed part by rapping last four lines towards the end.
Love The Way You Dance (Jazzy B, Sonu Sood, Millind Gaba)
This is another dance number which has a Punjabi fervour to it. Though the foot tapping Punjabi Bhangra is not memorable, but the groovy number is hard to ignore.
Chalte Chalte (Arijit Singh)
After lot of party numbers, this song is a soft romantic number. Though this song is one of those typical Arijit Singh renditions; but still doesn’t qualify to be one of his best works.
Suku Suku (Shivaranjani Singh)
Composed by Sajid-Wajid and sung by Shivaranjani Singh, Suku Suku is has a retro effect mixed with disco beats. But somehow, the lyrics are lost due to high tempo and loud music effects.
Ranga Re (Shreya Ghoshal)
This song is pleasant to hear as it’s a beautiful rendition by Shreya Ghoshal. This surely gives a breather as it’s a soft romantic number in the whole album, which is otherwise full of loud groovy Bhangra pop.
Our Final Verdict-Summing up, ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ has peppy foot tapping numbers which may not be memorable in the long run, but will surely keep you hooked for the time being.
Our picks are Rail Gaddi and title track ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’.
