Life will come a full circle for Jackie Shroff who became a star in Bollywood courtesy his debut film, Subhash Ghai’s Hero which had turned out to be a blockbuster. News is that this‘Hero’ will now make an appearance in the remake of his debut film to be produced by Salman Khan. The new Hero remake which will also serve as a launch pad for newcomers Sooraj Panscholi and Athiya Shetty will have Jackie playing the role of badman Pasha, a character immortalized by the late Amrish Puri in the original. Apparently, Salman felt that the remake will be incomplete without the appearance of Jackie in the film and hit upon this brainwave. Director Nikhil Advani too loved Salman’s idea and so did Jackie who agreed almost immediately. Sources close to the development confirmed the same saying, “Jackie is close to both Ghai and Salman. It will be nostalgic for him to act in the remake of a film which established him as a star in Bollywood."
Guess this is the ‘emotional appearance’ which will have the audience rooting for this film.
