Akshay Kumar’s old film Khiladi 786 is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Apparently, a lady named
Naseem Bano has lodged a complaint on the producer, director as well as the lead actor, Akshay Kumar
stating that the film has a scene in which Kumar stamps on a replica of `786', a number considered
sacred by a particular community and therefore has hurt religious sentiments. Following the complaint,
a Magistrate’s Court has directed the Mumbai Police to conduct a probe into the complaint rather than
issuing summons. Magistrate R K Kshirsagar of Andheri court in his order said, "Instead of directly
sending process (issuing summons, etc.), it would be appropriate to send the matter for inquiry and
report by concerned police station,". The Magistrate has also directed the police to file a report by
February 11.
Film Stars are surely the best and the most easy way for a trouble maker to gain his/her two minutes of
fame! What say folks?
