Several actors in B town have had a slow and steady journey. One of them is the Newton actor Rajkummar Rao. The actor who has impressed us with his acting skills without making much fuss and controversies, has emerged as a talented, fine actor.
Rao has not one but a bevy of films in his bags today. And he is now collaborating with Anubhav Sinha for his next which is a social drama. Rao has reportedly loved the narration given by Sinha and in no time has come onboard for the project. Not only the subject, the script but also the dialogues are fascinating and Rao is looking ahead to playing it. The film is expected to start rolling by this year in November in Lucknow.
On the movie front, he has Badhaai Do with Bhumi Pedhnekar which will release in early 2022 and is doing Dharma Production's film on cricket.
Then there's a Telugu cop thriller HIT being remade in Hindi and the film which was helmed by Sailesh Kolanu in Telugu has Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the leads.
Also he has Vasan Bala's O My Darling for Netflix, Dinesh Vijan's next horror comedy along with Kriti Sanon. Besides this he is doing a Mudassar Aziz film which is a light hearted entertainer.
