On Thursday the Junior Civil Judge of the City Civil Court, Hyderabad passed an injunction order that restrains the screening of Ram Gopal Varmas's movie Khatra. The movie was scheduled to release on May 6.

Advocate Shyam S Agrawal appearing for the petitioners Nattis Entertainments and its proprietor Natti Kranthi, brought to the notice of the court that RGV and his company owed Rs 5,29,00,000 to his firm.
He added that the amount was taken as loan for producing a movie in the year 2019 for which RGV and his company gave an undertaking that Rs 50 lakh would be paid for every project he is involved in. After he failed to fulfil his commitment, Nattis Entertainment filed the said suit.
